Also known as Bright Winter in the Sci/art system, clear winters are Dark, Clear and Cool. You will often recognize a Clear Winter because of her striking eyes, which often have a jewel-like appearance and contrast with their dark hair and skin. Clear Winters are the season with the highest level of contrast and can pull color combinations that would look overpowering on anybody else. In fact, anything monochromatic or low contrast looks like they are wearing really boring clothes. Bright winter can also wear black comfortably, particularly as high contrast combinations with white.

Clear Winters often have black or dark brown hair. However, there are high contrast Clear Winters with cold, platinum ice hair though it’s quite uncommon.
Skin
The skin is clear and pale, without much warmth to it and often has a certain translucent quality to it. Darker skins have a glowy, almost glassy shine to them. Clear Winters tend to have fair skin, but there are some who have very pale skin.
Eyes
Clear Winters usually have striking bright, sparkly eyes which are often blue, bright hazel, emerald green or even violet, and they are probably your best feature and the first thing people notice about you. One of the easiest ways to figure out if you are a Bright Winter is the kind of colors that you can wear. There is simply not a color that is too saturated, too bright for them. Bright neon lime? Easy. Sparkling pink? Done. Bright sapphire blue? Sure. All of the above together? It will somehow still look good. If colors never overpower you, but warmer tones look better you may be a Clear Spring instead. If you think you are a winter but the lighter colors wash you out, try Dark Winter instead.

Soft and pale earth tones, such as a pale gold or a pastel pink, will make you look yellow and drained and are to be avoided.

Bright Winter makeup is intense and contrasting, and you will be able to get away with things such as icy violet highlights or fuchsia lipstick without problems. Most Clear Winters choose to emphasize their eyes with dramatic charcoal and navy or deep plum, and it can look striking combined with a bright pink lip. Avoid makeup with orange undertones or brown, as it will make your skin look muddy.
